Dear Backers,

We know we’re running late and that our end of the year deadline is approaching. As you know from our previous update we’re running behind due to the challenges we face with the footwear market and maintaining product design & development in the USA. Clearly, we were not happy about these roadblocks but we’re absolutely determined to push through every obstacle in our way.

It’s crunch time for us and we’re aggressively pushing for the first version of our factory model to be ready by the end of the year. This is critical for us to move towards mass production and shipping.

We’re all in the same boat here and we want this product in the market just as much as you do. We’re pushing new boundaries in technology which has been hugely challenging, but having your support is critical for us as we enter this final phase. You’ve been very patient with us over this long wait, but we assure you we will do our part.

Below is a brief glimpse of the improvements we’ve made to the app experience. For the beta version we’re aiming for simplicity and focused on the core features. We’ve made some improvements to the design of the sneaker & the app and we’ll soon be opening up for feedback so we can further refine the product. This will give an opportunity to have your say before the final version is developed and will be instrumental for our team in developing the best sneaker for you.

Stay tuned for the hardware update with pictures by the end of next week from our lead hardware engineer Nick Johnson. As we approach the end of the development phase, we will be updating you more often. We cannot wait to show you what we have achieved so far.

Dave

Awesome! Great to see progress and moving forward.

Like all other backers I'm hanging to see our product - The real deal and what we've been waiting for so the clocks ticking guys and the web site will see a lot of hits over the next week for sure :-D

Yup, bringing this together has been a real juggling act and I plan on having many different things coming together over the next month.

Thank you so much for hanging in there!

Can't wait to see what's in store! The shoe, what will come to fruition when the app hits the market as far as designs go, the list goes on! Out of all things I backed on Indiegogo this is the product I'm MOST excited about.

So far I like the app, the only thing (at a glance) you can do without is the "purple font"! I'm sure many will complain that it's very hard on the eyes especially on a black background!

As per the kicks, "CAN'T WAIT TO SEE RESULTS...ANYTHING that'll breath life into this project would be great for all us backers as well as bring new validity to all you promised back in....UNTIL NEXT UPDATE, hmmmmm!

Also just noticed this seems to be on the Android. Will there be an iOS version of this app as well?

I hope to see pictures of the shoes from inside the place they're making the shoes. That will provide real proof of these awesome shoes that you all that have been working so hard on have promised. Keep up the great work! :)

This interface looks really good, and an improvement from what we saw with the first release.

I get what you guys are going through, but us sneaker nerds are super anxious.

All in all, thanks for the update. Cannot wait to wear these things and also design for these.

As everybody, I am quite impatient but I am impatient for a great product that will work flawlessly for a long time, so keep on working, you are on the right path.

I had hoped to wear them at a certain party that is marked on my calendar each end of October...

I belief that one year will be enough to finalize and manufacture... and deliver my pair. I should still be able to walk... One year more, I don't know... So at work! Chop chop!

Just curious, around when can we expect info about battery life/capacity and final feature list? Even if you can't give a highly accurate date, can you at least give a time frame? 2 weeks? A month? Thanks!

I was noticing in these pictures of the app with the shoe on it that you have "greyed out" the back portion of the shoe that wraps around the heel. Does this mean you could not get the screen to flex around the back, and there will only be visuals on the side? Or is this something tou are still hoping to overcome?

I'm no expert but, they 'do' only show one design on the shoe on all the pictures with it, so I'm pretty sure the gray dots on the back are simply a part of the design.

You know this might be SLIGHTLY off topic but I'm wondering if you guys will also sell cleaning supplies for the shoes. I went to the mall and found this shoe cleaner in which I'd be hesitant to use but it makes sure the shoes stay nice and white (or whatever color you choose) without doing any damage to the shoe. I just want to be one step ahead of the game because I want to make sure all 3 of my pairs stay in superb condition. I'm not big on owning nice shoes so I'm kind of new as to learning how to take care of them. And I need pointers so any advice would be greatly appreciated from any shoe nerds on here. I realize that we need to focus on getting our shoes first before we even think about cleaning supplies but as previous stated, just need some advice. Trying to stay ahead!
